Most of our Estate and/or Moving Sales are held on a Friday and Saturday. We begin by mailing and e-mailing a printed flyer each month usually listing several sales. On the first day of the sale numbers are handed out to the early arrivals one hour before opening at the sale location. The doors open at 9.00am and people are admitted by the number they hold, everyone is admitted after the numbered customers . We tag all the items in the sale. Most items are sold for the tag price. In the event a person does not wish to pay the tag price, bids are accepted of at least $5.00 over half the asking price. At the last hour of the last day, the prices of all goods on which there are no bids are reduced to half price (unless arrangement has been previosly made with owners). By 3 p.m. on the final day nearly everything will have been sold. On the following day will be a pick-up time, if necessary, for customers who have bought goods on bids.

We also accept items on consignment for which we charge a 40% commission rate. This is to cover our moving costs. Our usual commission is 35%. This includes all advertising (with the exception of the newspaper ad), email mailing distribution, set-up, and clean up.
